It is my great honor and pleasure to announce that I have been appointed full tenured professor of music theory with a focus on jazz/pop/arrangement (as well as classical music…thus: MUSIC 😀) at the University of Music Freiburg, Germany, starting on April 1, 2022. I am very proud and excited to return to my alma mater as successor to Otfried Büsing and I cannot wait to get involved in shaping the university through teaching and research.
